Ethical Framework of Leadership in Terms of Globalization and Multiculturalism June 27, The theme of leadership is not new in a contemporary discourse on rationality and tolerance. In this respect companies and society are constantly growing. It means that their cultural and ethnical capacity is growing as well. People tend to communicate every now and then. Definitely, they need to be led by a strong and sound-minded person freed from biases and unethical actions in mind. Thus, ethical leadership springs up today as the outcome of inefficient practice in this field.

In other words, real leaders are few. They are identified by a strong will to change the environment for better. To say more, such a change constitutes social as well financial profitability. Thus, ethical framework of leadership in terms of globalization and multiculturalism is a necessity placed within contemporary development of the world countries. First of all, one should take it into account that ethical culture is among the first creations by an effective leader. The question is that people are likely to participate in different activities.

However, they may find no juxtaposition if there are no traditions and culture within their community. That is, cultural diversity justified and applied to a definite group of people relies on learned beliefs and guides for people’s behavior (Shriberg, Shriberg and J.Kumari 21). A company’s strong ethical culture is a pivot for further transformation for better supported by overall success. Hence, ethical issues are to be determined first. The need for ethical leadership grounds on the need for being understood throughout an organization.

Leaders need to have feedback on the part of their subordinates. In turn it should be based on the needs of subordinates for a democratic environment in the workplace. In this respect an overall conception fulfills the niche of mismatches evident earlier. Mendonca and Kanungo point out in their study that “there is an increasing realization today that organizational leaders need to be more sensitive to their moral obligations to the larger society, which includes all their stakeholders such as consumers, employees, suppliers, governments, local communities” (4).

Thus, there should be a two-side communication between dominants and subordinates able to improve on the leadership perspectives per se. Ethical bearings are well grounded on the need of constant globalization during the last few decades. Thereupon, by modeling a greater ethical concern, there is an opportunity to pursue such traditions for further generations (Hesselbein and Goldsmith 205). Globalization cannot go apart from cultural discourse on being more ethical when facing different identities inherent by people.

It is another viewpoint to move forward in ethical leadership. In turn Shriberg, Shriberg and J.Kumari identify executive ethical leadership as grounded on moral person and moral manager (23). This is why living in a highly-globalized world requires ethical leadership to break down any case of misconception and mismatch in a larger society. Leadership in through global development is a unified construct of the interconnected global economy (Shriberg, Shriberg and J.Kumari 36). The question is that there is no difference between the extents of leadership people have within their organization.

It is all about the global perspective of leadership itself. That is to say, leadership is highly emphasized today, as the basis for further innovations, order, and profits. Thus, to make it plain, a leader needs to be bound to the cultural essentials of the ethical framework. There should be some ethical principles to take control of a leader himself/herself in order to make sure the moral climate in an organization is uplifting every now and then (Mendonca and Kanungo 5). It is a requirement for a leader to be wise during decision-making process outlined in a larger global perspective.

Diversity wheel is an applicable tool to put leaders into the picture of current versatility of ethical principles fitting into ethical decisions (Shriberg, Shriberg and J.Kumari 37). In a vortex of different influences on people throughout different organizations there are some implications that individuals need to comply with. Diversity wheel helps leaders understand the weak points in an organizational construct so as to improve on them and make an organization firm and culturally-favorable.

Thus, diversity of behaviors and cultures generate a set of principal activities leader should follow. To conclude, ethical framework of leadership in terms of globalization and multiculturalism is a necessity placed within contemporary development of the world countries. Particular principles of leadership are a great means for leaders’ verification in how they comply with organizational sustainability. Moreover, such a flow of controlling measures gives ground to move toward further breakthroughs.
