This festival, started in June 2010, is a relatively new front that brings together different artists and musicians from fresh and improved music community in the big apple, New York City. Being only the sophomore edition of The Undead Jazz festival, four nights were picked and set aside for the concert and performance; that is June 23rd through to the 26th.
The Jazz Messengers used varying techniques among their pianists, bassists and saxophonists to produce memorable beats during their 1958 Belgium concert. Just By Myself is done by Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers. Other musicians include Benny Golson, Lee Morgan and Jymie Merritt.
The piece starts very virant with great composure and organization. Lee Morgan initiates the performance as he plays higher and higher notes while other band members maintain lower notes thus making the trumpet conspicuous.
