Thus a research on certain field provides scientific information and it also explains about the nature of the world existing around us. A research field could be anything. It might be based on social sciences like journalism and sociology or it could be any natural sciences like physics or biology. (Marion,R.,2004). Now, to describe about the thesis people do collect a lots and lots of information about their specified field or subject. This information must be tabled or scaled in such a way that any kind of analysis or predictions could be very well done.
This again narrows down to quantitative research which employs the mathematical strategies to model the observations. Here the measurement comes into picture as it is the one which provides the basic connection between the observed data through experiments and the theoretical reasoning. (Viswanathan, M., 2005) In general while doing manual observations there are certain restrictions, because manual observations are erroneous. Also it is difficult for a human to record and analyse various simultaneous data.
All the data we measure must be recorded as a quantity and it is solely for this purpose we use all scales to measure our result. Thus it becomes so easy to analyse our result. Measurements are done using various instruments. (Viswanathan, M., 2005) But still, there are certain difficulties too in measuring facts. It is because that almost all the measurements are approximations only. We can cite an example using physics where an approximate value for acceleration of gravity is used as 9.8 meters per second.
Using this value we calculate many results but this itself is an approximate value which makes all other calculated values also to be approximate. In almost all calculations we round up the result to either two or three decimal places. Great efforts are needed to be put in, to bring out our results as accurate as possible. As far as our observations become accurate, we could be confident and
