Aesthetic perspectives are primary in the description, and so this would be the major evaluative standard used. In the opinion of this writer, the author of the description of pub drinkers has given sufficient attention to the elements and relationships suggested by the composition to support her conclusions. The attention to detail in referencing the image and creating a clear picture in her description was cogent and showed thoughtful assimilation of material from the description of the image itself, as well as the author’s encryption.

She also supplied personal commentary. Many of the image descriptions I have seen are written in a summative form which detracts from analysis because it provides material on a summarizing basis that has already been represented in extant form. Her description did not just summarize the referenced images, however; it added personal comments by the writer about their reactions to the issues and, most importantly, feelings brought up by the images.  This writer’s interpretation differs somewhat from the author of the pub drinkers' description.

I personally appreciated the ability to give a personal interpretation of something I had seen personally, and therefore was able to interpret. In any case, her interpretation seemed fairly agreeable, if somewhat confused at points. Whether one agrees with individual commentary or not, it can still be recognized as an important part of the assimilation of knowledge, which is strongly represented in the description of the pub drinkers. In this description, there was a lot of attention paid, in my estimation after reading the description, which was made available to me, to blending content from the image with content from a more personal perspective that tended to react to these points that were brought up in a way that aligned them with a certain subjective view.
