One’s normal lifetime has been affected with the religious motives, attitudes, systems in which he/she maintains his/her life and so on and so forth. Thus with the passage of time and the media influence all around, it is of paramount significance in the world of present times that people stick on to their respective religions and try to mend their lives in accordance with their religions and its different tenets. Furthermore, religion plays the role of a torchbearer when there is gloom all around for a human being and when he is unable to satisfy his whims from no other way/manner.
There are a number of different religions in the world of today and we cannot pinpoint a single one to be the major one. Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism and Judaism are some of the more significant ones prevalent all over the globe. The highest conversion rate of people towards a single religion in present times is of Islam; however we can see that the majority of the world’s population is composed of Christians. In such a busy world of present times, a person hardly gets the time to talk to his own self let alone his God for that matter.
Whilst remaining in touch with his respective religion, he can easily see for himself as to where he has gone wrong and what he can do best in order to understand the intricacies of life that are bestowed upon him courtesy the God. It also offers a person a check and balance facility whereby he can constantly check for his sins and repent upon them, asking for forgiveness and thus seek for gaining more and more virtues which would eventually help him achieve a better position not only in this world but also the world after, however this last concept is viewed differently across a cross section of religions and cultures.
