One most interesting this is that this line is only formed by the edge of the roofline and it appears like an invisible wall. This line separates light and shade and the author wants us to imagine how these two components function. Light brings warmth and the shade brings some coolness. In the second story entitled “Living reflections,” it can also be noted that the flower is portrayed as the image of a living girl. Its beauty reflects the personality of a living girl. In other words, the author wants to appeal to the reader’s sense of humor such that he or she can imagine how beautiful the flower being described is.

It can also be seen that the flower has been used as a symbol of beauty. The flower is powerfully described as outstanding in terms of its appearance and we can only imagine how good it looks like. She also thinks that bright blue or red clothes can symbolize something beautiful. She wears these colors to disguise her friends since she does not have new clothes like her friends. The lab is also portrayed as a symbol of life and death. She imagines that even if a person dies wearing Nike shoes, she or he is just as good as living.
