I should have made steps toward my goals. The final step will be making the dream a reality and living your goal.

Step 1: Identifying career options. I would like to become a property manager at Colliers International. This firm is a renowned real estate agency that has been operational for the past couple of years. As an international firm, the company has managed to gain worldwide recognition in the real estate business hence making them one of the best in the market. As a rule, I always work want to work with the best in the field of my choice. I believe that this real estate work will provide me with satisfaction since it is what has been a family business for the past 20 years. Me getting that post will be the greatest thing that has ever happened in our family.

Step 2: Choosing a goal. In setting goals to meet in the next 5 years, the following will be my choices:
- Apply to a University that offers property management courses in a reputable place.
- Get upper-class honors in Property management courses while in university.
- Apply for a job at the local real estate agent to get 1 year of experience.
- Apply for a job as an assistant property manager at Colliers International.
- Eventually, climb your way to become a property manager at Colliers International.

Step 3: Work out the steps to get there. In my goals, choosing to do a property management course at a reputable university is my first target. To get to do a property management course, one should have scored a good grade in high school, something which I am aware of. Therefore, it will be through hard work and support that I will be able to achieve high grades in high school. That means spending hours in my study room and consulting with my teachers. After that, I would have to gain entry into a reputable university that offers real estate courses, in particular, property management.

In the four years that I will be on campus, means I have to also score good grades to attain first-class honors. This will entail a lot of sacrifice on my part since University life is not as easy as a high school due to a lot of temptation from friends. I would stay away from being influenced by peer pressure and stay focused on my course. I will attend all lessons so as not to miss anything and constantly revise my notes. Furthermore, I would seek help from my senior lecturers regarding tips on property management.

Eventually, after attaining my first class honors, I would apply for a job as a junior property manager at our county, to gain experience in the matter. I will dedicate my time to ensuring that I develop good property management skills and a good referral letter. After working there for a year, I would then apply for an assistant property manager at Collier International, to learn how the international firm manages its property. After a year of learning, will apply for the post of property manager and will be sure to get it.

Step 4: Assigning timelines and priorities:
1St year: Finish campus.
2nd year: Apply for a job in a local real estate firm.
3rd year: Apply for a job as an assistant property manager at Colliers International.
4th year: Learn and understand how property management is handled at Colliers International.
5th year: Aim to get the post of the property manager at Colliers International.

Step 5: Making it happen. I believe once I get the post of property manager, I will do my best to ensure that the properties managed by Colliers International, receive the best clients across the world. I would be professional at my place of work and ensure Colliers International gets profits based on my experiences.
