Management and Leadership Concepts in Information Technology Introduction Management and leadership practices are vital for ensuringboth the success of the individual leader and the success of the organization. According to Marturano and Gosling (2012), leadership is the process through which an individual influences other people for the accomplishment of organizational objectives. Conversely, leadership directs an organization in a manner that ensures its cohesiveness and coherence. This forms the basis of management concepts, which transform an individual into standout leaders, managers, and dynamic employees that create an enabling organization in order to achieve great organizational success.

This paper looks into a leadership concept relevant in the Information Technology field, which has an influence in the achievement of success in an organization. Select a management or leadership concept relevant to the information technology profession. The most relevant management concept for the IT profession is the collaborative concept. This concept is vital ensuring the coming together of an entire team, for instance, in the creation of a website that is extensively industry-specific. This means that the leader in an organization should team up with people in the organization, as well as those from other states or countries in order to achieve this.

Given the definitions of science you encountered in the readings, to what extent does this concept make claims to universality and predictive power?Through collaboration, there is a possibility of strengthening data and culture derived from each collaborator. Building a website in an organization requires a set of individuals specializing in the development process, systems operations, data processing and leadership. According to Delanty and Strydom (2003), an understanding of the necessities of a project and the prognostic control of the processes essential for its fulfillment require interpretive considerations and hermeneutic science attached to collaboration.

This consideration is necessary for the creation of testable theories, thereby creating an understanding that would prove the validity of the theory. What does it assume about the forces at work in society and organizations? The basic assumption in this case is the fact that every individual in the organization have the ability to collaborate in spite of the language barriers that might be in existence. For this reason, the individuals can understand the project requirements fully. Since cultures vary, it would be vital for the organization to ensure an explicit definition and meaning of required accomplishments.

Is it part of a large system of concepts and principles? The concept relates to Aphel’s emphasis on the critical and reconstructive role of social sciences, which is inclusive of the ‘quasi-nomological behavioral science’ (Tsoukas and Chia, 2011). This relation is considered to be prevailing towards beliefs held by Freudian psychoanalysis (Delanty and Strydom, 2003). A good reason for this identification is the fact that actions might be causally effective, considering the natural exploitative mechanisms by the agents involved in carrying out the project (Zeidler-Janiszewska, 2013).

ConclusionThe collaborative concept applicable in leadership or management in the Information technology profession is necessary for the promotion of a shared vision that will enable individuals to create an appropriate culture and environment that will ensure the realization of the organizations vision. By creating such an environment, it will be easier to use the technological applications available to plan and implement systems that can assess and evaluate the project components comprehensively.

On the other hand, it will be possible to have an understanding of the ethical, legal and social issues that are technologically related. Conversely, the collaborates will be in a good position to model dependable decision-making processes for the realization of the objectives set.ReferencesDelanty, G., & Strydom, P. (Eds.). (2003).
