Social entrepreneurship has given way to terms like corporate social responsibility where not just individuals but even leaders within the corporate world have started making efforts other than their usual business to give back to humanity through social services. In entrepreneurial leadership with society as subject of all actions, a leader has to show characteristics of responsibility, care, selflessness and righteousness. These are the basics one needs to get motivated to do work that will help the society and the world become a better place to live in (Bornstein and Davis 2010).

For me the single most motivation is the theory that the world is our home and the people living in it are like one large family. Just like a man takes responsibility of his home and his immediate family, it is our duty to humanity to take care of the world and society and ensure it is a safe and just place for everyone to live in. The root of most problems in the world currently is the lack of education. Our society is depleted with people not knowing the difference between the right and wrong.

Their lack of education is the reason behind their frustration in life that leads to crime, injustice and war. Education also gives the rational for everything in life. An educated person is a wise person and everyone deserves to acquire knowledge. This is what my social enterprise will be about – education. The mission of my social enterprise will be to provide education to everyone free of cost. This would mean no individual would be deprived of education because he or she cannot afford it.

The institute will not just provide academic education but will also mold the characters of the students to ensure to come out as better human beings. The ultimate vision of my social enterprise would be to have an educated world that develops a sense of social responsibility and helps each other in making this world a better place.
