For example, I highlight through the narrative my memories and experiences at the Cabin with my family and connect my narrative of these experiences with the description of the location and the Cabin. I feel that this not only brings a sense of immediacy to the text; it also serves to reinforce the message of the text in bringing my experiences at the Cabin to life, particularly when I conclude with “My parents have made it possible for that to happen, in a cabin that makes every Christmas of ours come alive and magical.
