He played an active role in the revolutionary war of America when he served as the Commander in Chief. He realized this when he left army and started farming in the mid 60s. After he came back he had the vision of a new state created for his people and he played a great role in pushing out the British soldiers from the territory of United States. It was in 1783 that the United States of America got independence because of the achievement of George Washington in the American Revolution.
