Organization Impacts: the old legacy system is not having an effective organizational structure. Therefore, the traditional ways of business management are not offering effective facility regarding business management and supply chain management. In addition, the organizational structure is not offering any rapid business dealing, supply chain management, and check and balance for the overall business operational and dealing management (Wikinvest, 2009).
Business Impacts: In case of old technology at General Electric Business is not having effective competitive edge on the other businesses. In addition, the business of General Electric is still facing a lot of problems regarding the business management and corporate handling. Furthermore, the traditional business is not offering effective dealing and management of the internal and external business aspects like supplier management, client handling, contracts management, project handling, etc (Wikinvest, 2009).
Technology Impacts: In case of old technology at General Electric Business the overall management and handling technological systems is not efficient and flexible. The old technology platforms management, their updates, modifications, and extensions become so harder and lead to higher services cost and more time regarding overall update to the technology platforms (FundingUniverse, 2009; Wikinvest, 2009).
Constraints: in case of old legacy systems and decentralized technology at General Electric Business is offering lot of constraints and problems about the technology and business.
