Ethics and Social Responsibility Ethics is a subsidiary part of moral philosophy that is closely concerned with the behaviors and morality of individuals towards others. Social responsibility is related to ethical responsibility of any entity no matter if it is government, organization, corporation or individual. Each one of these entities has some responsibilities towards society. Ethical issues arises when any of the above mentioned entities stop taking caring of ethics in what they do on large scale. For example, if a business entity takes bribes then it is against ethics and it is violating social ethics. Ethics and social responsibility goes along with one another because ethical parameters determine ones behavior and responsibility in society. It is included in ethics to take care of ones responsibilities according to the needs and want of the social environment. Being a socially responsible entity if an organization is releasing some chemical that are not suitable for environment then this organization is violating the ethical laws. Social responsibility is the applied field of ethics because entities are directly in contact with the open environment. They ought to take care of cultural, legal and social standards as they are described and determined in ethics. International Strategic Management International strategic management is a unique management process that defines and determines the developing and basic principle strategies that can be acquired by any organization to expand on broad level and compete to international competitors. Strategic planning is all about setting and determining a unique international strategy that can lead an organization to international markets. This strategy determines that what an organization able to do to sell their products and services and what products and services it is going to sell internationally. This strategy includes the procedure of making and providing these goods and services to international markets, as well. It determines the use of different important resources and determines the targeted demographics where the organization will launch and sell its goods and services, as well. International strategy management includes several other important points that an organization ought to be determined before launching itself as an international organization. Such as, being a domestic organization, it follows only the domestic rules and regulation and only one nation’s laws imply on it, but as soon as it becomes an international organization it has to deal with new challenges that come to its way. These challenges include, an international organization must have ability to deal with different cultures, languages, laws, accounting systems, rules and regulations. Various risk factors need to be evaluated and analyzed by any organization that is intended to become an international organization. If an organization is capable to work with all these possible aspects then it can launch itself as an international organization. International Human Resource Management Human Resource Management holds great importance in strengthening of any organization. Human resource management contains several important aspects that ought to be maintained in every possible way to increase the strength and output of any organization. Human resource management is important on an international level as well. A great number of multinational organizations are working in the world and they need to follow and coordinate with the international strategies and they need their human resources to apply it, as well. Human resource management is responsible for maintaining, managing, training and developing employee and labor relationships (Bernardin 9). It is responsible to provide compensations and help to labors. A multinational organization that has franchise in different parts of the world ought to maintain a strong international human resource management. On multinational organization level but on different higher levels such as on government levels, human resource management holds great importance, too. Many, large world wide organizations exchange labors across the borders and they ought to maintain a standard of management. Staffing is the first basic process in human resource management. This includes reviewing, planning and analysis regarding new or current positions. After hiring new individuals they ought to be motivated by creating suitable environment. In this step they ought to be evaluated by different methods and rating scales. After a detailed analyses and evaluation these individuals are rewarded by compensations and fringe benefits. Motivating and fair compensation will motivate the individuals. Trainings ought be given to the individuals to increase their working capabilities and these trainings will also determine if an individual is capable to work with new technologies or not. Employee and labor relations are very important, as well, in human resource management because if employee provides a stress free environment then the employer will produce good results. Safety and health concerns of an employer matters, too and employee ought to take care of the employers and workers and they ought to provide them healthy and safe environment. Organizations should take care of the rights of their workers; they ought to update their programs, plans and strategies in order to meet the new challenges. Cross Cultural Sales Negotiations Cross cultural negotiations is one of the dominant areas of the cross cultural communication field. Cross cultural sales negotiation holds a great importance in establishing and extending any business. If an organization contains trained cross cultural sales negotiators who are aware of the strategies, beliefs, etiquettes and contains enough knowledge about cultures then their negotiations will produce some effective consequences. It seems little complicated to negotiate with representative that belongs to other culture, but you can deal with it if you have good sales negotiation skills and you have a flexibility to tailor your approaches according to the directions of negotiations in a manner that can produce a productive result. Cross cultural sales negotiations involves careful looking at all the crucial factors that can affect the proceedings. Negotiation vary culture to culture, some cultures allow some things while other culture may not allow. Different negotiation approaches exists in different cultures. You have to give importance to the different negotiation approaches and negotiation habits of the culture and country where you are going to deal with. For cross cultural sales negotiations you ought to take care of some important points such as in western world eye contact holds great importance during negotiating process. Likewise, time management, punctuality, personal appearance and space means a lot in cross cultural negotiations. People from different parts of the world have different negotiating styles such as people from Middle East, uses simultaneous negotiating style as they discuss different things simultaneously rather than discussing issues in sequential order. People from Asia believe and rely on the decisions taken by head or seniors while Germans take a little more time to make any decision due to evaluation and detailed analysis. In the same manner different cultures have different negotiation approaches. As world has become a global village and because of this, cross cultural connections is the unavoidable part of it. Whenever you start cross cultural negotiation first prepare yourself and do some homework. Be prepared for the upcoming challenges that might come to your way at any time. Global Marketing Research Market Research is very important in the success of any organization. When an organization becomes a global organization, it takes the whole world as one market for its products and it produces, provides and manufactures products and services that target the whole world as one market. Global market research is very important to determine the best suited products and services that are equally popular in the whole world. Global market research basically works on some strategies; these include the knowledge of want, desires, need and believe of people. It includes the actions and reactions of people belong to different cultures and places after launching any product, as well. Global market research is helpful to determine the strategies to introduce different products in market, as well. It helps in determining the sources that can be acquired by an organization to introduce its product. Global market research gives the idea of market information that can lead an organization to determine the prices of different products in market; it gives idea about supply and demand of any product, as well. Global market research helps in segmenting the market on different levels such as demographic level, geographical level, psychological level etc. Global market research provides an overall idea of different market trends, these include; competitor information, customer information, market products.
