Particularly the environment and employee welfare related policies have shown a progressive improvement. Further employee retention strategies at News Corporation and labor turnover figures are interconnected in such a way that staff members have particularly been affected by a lack of concern for their negative experiences while dealing with customers. Finally this study has clearly identified a positive set of outcomes related to HRM practices and motivation thus News Corporation has acquired a greater dimension of integrity at the inner-house operational level on par with CSR initiatives.
News Corporation is a global media company founded by Rupert Murdoch and is the world’s largest publisher of English language newspapers. Its operations span across a number of countries such as Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom and so on. News Corporation has been faced with stiffer competition in both digital and conventional publishing and therefore it ought to design and implement some far superior and innovative HRM policies and initiatives.
