Analysis has indicated that different regions of European continent observed industrial and scientific revolution during different periods (Evans, pp. 56-63). Possibly, intellectual growth was another significant advantage of the scientific revolution on the continent. In other words, this revolution altered the thought process of humans on the continent that is visible in different studies. However, some experts believe that the industrial revolution of Europe resulted in changes in the fundamental authority that was earlier, the scholars of Middle and Ancient periods.

On the contrary, scholars such as Isaac Newton, Rene Descartes, Copernicus, etc became too intellectual authorities in the continent (Henderson, pp. 23-25). In other words, the industrial and scientific revolutions of sixteenth and seventeenth-century caused a division between scholars that follow different authorities that often created controversies. Conclusively, the European industrial revolution during 18th century brought a number of intellectuals, as well as social changes in the continent that affected a number of factors, such as family formation, labor practices, etc.
