progressive attitude in relation to satisfying free-thinking graduates is also present in how the business coordinates its employee relations programmes, attempting to build a more satisfied, competent, and focused team of staff professionals who genuinely enjoy their job positions and desire to provide students with a diverse learning curriculum. Employee relations are very important to the success of Murdoch University and also vital in how the public perceives the university at the public relations level.

This communications campaign plan highlights areas of employee relations which should be addressed, the specific goals of the campaign, and also the strategies which will be used to launch the new public relations communications. “Employment law is so complex that a souring of employee relations can happen all too easily today” (Haymarket Business 2006, 11). This is something which Murdoch University cannot afford, therefore extensive efforts to satisfy the employee population is necessary in order to build a team-based atmosphere of cooperation and mutual reward for both the employee and the organisation.

The problem facing Murdoch University is that employees, mostly in areas of teaching and the administration of curriculum tools, are experiencing frustration by being limited in terms of providing innovative and unique in-class lessons. It has come to the attention of senior leadership that many teachers find that there are too many curriculum restrictions mandated at the senior levels of administration and they are unable to incorporate progressive classroom teaching that is in-line with contemporary business philosophy.

Because of this, instructors feel that they are restricted and senior administration is not giving these employees enough personal leeway to create a more unique classroom experience. Having been awarded five star ratings for graduate satisfaction, it is time for Murdoch University to achieve similar awards for its commitment to
