The report has been prepared with analyzing the process of recruitment and selection with the help of considering the HRM practice of an organization named Higher College Technology located in UAE. The project has been designed and formatted in two different sections. The first section discusses about the process of recruitment and selection with all the sub-steps and other related activities. The section also discusses the significance of recruitment and selection and the role played by these activities.

The second part describes how the Higher College Technology operates their recruitment and selection program. A deep analysis of the recruitment and selection system of the HCT has been provided in the second part of the report. For any organization, their human resource is the most important asset and an organizations success depends on its man power to a great extent. Hence, the process of selection and recruitment has to be well planned and well executed. The process of selection and recruitment gets influenced by many factors which can be organizational specific or the culture of the country can directly influence the process.

Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) being an organization in UAE faces certain draw back in their current recruitment and selection which are mainly due to the cultural environment. These recruitment problems can develop as a major hindrance for the organization and the college may fail to cope with fast globalization which is going on through the world. Before understand the problem related with HCT, one has to understand the current recruitment and selection process which is being followed in the college.

The Higher Colleges of Technology is one of the leading organizations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). At present it has around 16,000 students and 2,000 people are in the staff.
