To become the great at anything in life it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Kobe Bryant ever since he entered the NBA has always worked hard every off-season to improve his physical conditioning and basketball skills. During the off-season Kobe spends four hours everyday training which includes weigh lifting, cardiovascular exercises and running as well taking between 700 – 1000 shots per day (Guardeni). His great conditioning has allowed him to be the player that has played the most minutes per game during the last three NBA seasons.
Being the player that is played the most by any particular basketball team shows that he is a very valuable asset on the court that the Lakers need to be out there as much as possible to his incredible contributions. Durability is a mandatory quality that the best player in a game must possess. To show how durable and valuable Kobe is we can look at his trajectory during the last 12 months. Kobe has played in a combined 111 games between the NBA regular season, playoffs and eight game Olympic schedule.
Kobe Bryant is the best individual scorer in the game of basketball. He won two of the last three scoring titles in the NBA. He has the highest scoring average during the last three seasons with an average of 31.7 points per ball game (Espn). The fact that he has the highest average does tell half the story of how amazing a scorer he is. Kobe Bryant is the most explosive scorer in the game who can take over a game like few others in the history of the game can. On June 26, 2006 Kobe Bryant scored 81 points, the 2nd highest single game total in NBA history behind only Wilt’s 100 point accomplishment.
