As a result, the impact of one culture lies on the other.

The art of predicting the future, the study of astronomy [the stellar movements], and the learning of atmospheric sciences all came from Mesopotamian civilization. The Greeks seemed to have excelled in every field. Their civilization was the most influential one. They were the pioneers to build multi-storied buildings, and formulated trade routes covering large territories such as Turkey, Cyrus, Egypt, Afghanistan, and Scandinavia.

Athletics and other art of sports such as “Bull-leaping”, and Marathons were given by them and we still conduct these sports worldwide. The Greeks were the first to introduce “Epic poetry” and “Lyric”. All the credit goes to Homer, the first person to present Greek Literature. The “Democratic form of government” and the voting system, the meeting of those people who voted was called an “assembly” was all their contribution and its impact could be felt obviously.

The urbanized culture started from their time onwards. One more important impact is the logical and philosophical approach toward every concept of life, that was given to them. The philosopher’s quest resulted in teaching an exact way of moralistic life. The Greeks had the view that the state should be organized for the sake of the good life.

In the field of Science, we cannot forget Hippocrates, “the father of medicine”. Medical terms such as “crisis”, “acute”, “and chronic” came from the study of Hippocrates. Moreover, he was the first to find out the fact that the causes of disease are no more due to supernatural intervention. Herodotus, “the father of history”, taught the world the writing of historical factors including answers to “why?”, and “where” of a historical event.

We have the impact on Roman civilization also such as the use of Roman numbers “1, 11,111, 1V, V, etc., The name of the months such as January, and February, was given in connection with the Roman Gods such as Janus{the god of entrance}etc.,.The use of mosaic tiles was introduced by the Romans. The “villa” type of house also had an unforgettable impact on the Romans.

As far as the Egyptian civilization is concerned, the greatest wonder of the world “The pyramids” are still in good condition, though earthquakes disturbed and spoiled many monuments, “Pyramids” were taken by any calamity. They teach us the fineness in the art of construction. Their belief in life after death is still an obsessed thought of many scientists. The mummification of dead bodies and the art of fishing using hooks and nets are impacts of Egyptians. The art of decorating buildings with carved stone images is still considered an interesting work of art all over the world. The personification of Gods started with the Egyptians.

Regarding the difference in the attitudes of the ancient people and the people of today, there seems to be a lot of changes in it. The ancient people had strong beliefs in supernatural existence, they the considered king as a form of divinity; even diseases were considered to be a result of supernatural influence, and the sign of thunder, lightning, and wind was considered as having hidden meaning for a future event. But today with the advent of science and technology people have rationalized their mentality, and there are very few who still believe in supernatural things. More there is no differentiation of people concerning their status. No point of discrimination is seen today.

We could find out that people from different countries work and live everywhere in the world. A sort of universal thinking is spreading around. The logic seems to have made people live like this. Moreover, compulsory education which is insisted on in every country has paved the way for a mutual understanding between people. There lies a major difference between the ancient people and the people of today. Though the origin of attitudes was from our ancestors it has changed our look.
