For these reasons circumstances of poverty may raise the risk of political brutality, terrorism, war and genocide and may make those living in poverty defenseless to human trafficking, internal dislocation and exile as immigrants. Countries suffering extensive poverty may experience loss of population, mainly in high-skilled jobs, through emigration, which may further weaken their capability to perk up their circumstances.
