Extract of sample "Rap and the Aftermath of a Generation"

Rap and the aftermath of a generation. To rap is to melody feelings that could infect someone contagiously or fascinatingly in a manner that best fits their struck cord of mood. This means that rap artists being a role model is a better example to follow than the person at a preacher's office since such a person has related my inside to my external life and has rapped and zapped my anger into positive energy which allows me to share positively with someone the same crisis we share together.

Such as Eminem: in his song Till I collapse, he mentions: Music is like magic there's a certain feeling you get when your real and you spit and people are feeling your shit. This is your moment and every single minute you spend trying to hold onto it cause you may never get it again. So while you're in it try to get as much shit as you can and when your run is over just admit when it's at its end. Cause I'm at the end of my wits with half this shit that gets in. That, he explains is because:'Cause sometimes you feel tired, feel weak, and when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up.

But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength and just pull that shit out of you and get that motivation to not give up and not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse. Although this differs from one rapper to another, yet Eminem, as a rap artist exhibits energy and ability to sing in some of his songs, like other rappers, on touching issues and emotions which concern the normal everyday person. Such as his song for Hailie in 'mocking bird' and how he feels he has screwed up for her in 'when I'm gone.

Rap is music, music is entertainment, rap is feelings and emotions and to entertain with feelings and emotions one has to be able to gain control of them to be able to logic whether a person is proper or improper in the means they show their mentality. Not all rappers do this whether because they feel it's a freedom and democracy of discussion and rapping about what could drive others crazy or about the dictatorship of what they believe to be correct and true on life issues which they have learned growing up like 50-cent's saying that where he comes from has no plan B so he's got to take the chances he's got to be able to face life consequently 'properly'.

Most youths have no experience in life except what they read, listen to in music and thus relate to it in a manner which is shallow because it is shallow in words and this is why they could 'relate' because it is not literature by Victor Hugo or Roman Roland in his tragedy 'Antoinette'. This is one reason people who feel there are no simple future love rappers, especially that the boisterous life they lead is the role model of lifestyles they'd adore and die to live even if it means disobedience to society to reach it and all conducts and codes of manner.

A rapper is a role model because they are the closest to the connections between the heart and mind substantiated and substances of the different hearts that people are about and live by. People are different metals, some people are like milk and honey, other people are like alcoholic drinks, and some people are like water. People who are like water are clear and purify your inside, even if they have bad sides, it's easy to see it and see through them, people who are like milk are people who are useful to your infrastructure, the dirt that could be in them floats on the surface, that dirt could be removed easily, with water the dirt that's in them lies at the bottom, but in both cases, it doesn't affect them, it doesn't mix with their very good natures.

People who are like alcoholic drinks destroy everything in you, especially your heart and mind. People who are like honey are very useful too and could stick to you easily, also the bad in you they could stick into them easily and rid you of it too easily too. Milk is good for your bones, water for your blood, honey for your health and alcoholic drinks for nothing-they even make you lose your integrity and dignity when you're off guard. The same goes for rappers, especially because rap is a religion to most youth nowadays.
