The film Frankenstein Frankenstein was originally a novel written by Mary shelly, which was later made as a movie. The Frankenstein (Victor Frankenstein) is a name of a scientist who is obsessed and crazy of creating life in a dead body. He spent many years to acquire dead bodies from grave and also by torturing animals. After ten years of wild goose chase he was finally ready to induce life into his creation. Frankenstein asks his assistant (Fritz) to bring a brain from the university. He drops the normal one and steals a criminal's brain from a dead body.

Worried about Frankenstein's acts his fiance with her friend and Frankenstein's former mentor arrives the place where Frankenstein was starting his experiment. Finally Frankenstein manages to put life into his imagination. The reborn dead body played by Robert monster was first quite and pleasant but Fritz torments monster and so his criminal brain begins to catapult into a fully criminal behavior. Fed up by the criminal behavior of monster Frankenstein leaves him with his mentor Dr.Waldman.

The monster escapes from Dr.Waldman and comes to village to take revenge on Frankenstein. Before escaping monster kills both Fritz and Waldman since Fritz was torturing him with fire and whips and Waldman was about to dissect him to dispose. After escaping from the castle the monster went to Elizabeth's bedroom seeing him she screams and he flees. The manhunt is on for the monster and is found in the mountains. He over powers Frankenstein and ties him to a windmill. The windmill is seta fire and eventually it falls on the monster and he burns to ground.

Frankenstein is shown carried.The movie was really close to what Mary Shelly has written in her novel. The direction was so appropriate that it brought the darker side of the story to the silver screen. Shelly was trying to make it clear in the novel that science should not tamper with life. The movie miserably fails to make shelly's point clear. The movie was moving unnecessarily fast. The expression of the characters was not effective and especially the monster's. DeNiro was shown as too much of monster then in the novel where the monster was more human.

The developments of the characters were also very poor. Frankenstein's character was drawn too long than in the novel because of which interest was lagging to view the film. The movie's R rating also unfair since it has only one male nudity and very little bloody scenes. But the performance of all the stars was excellent and the monsters character played by Robert DeNiro above all else could be devastating if played by others. The wonderful score penned by Patrik especially on the wedding night was really haunting.

Frankenstein's character was shown many shades, which made the viewers to think weather he is in a positive character or in a negative. According to the novel Frankenstein doesn't try to kill the monster but in the movie he really tries to kill the monster. The plot of the movie was really god and star cast was really appropriate. The movie was exactly as like the novel but some of the crucial changes made the movie successful. The movie could bring some of the most heart wrenching human emotions to life on the screen loneliness' and desperation.
