I transferred to the Washington DC area shortly after 9/11/2001 to look for contract work with the Government. The position at KForce was only presented to me as a full time employment and not as a sub-contract with Base Technology Incorporated. Hence, I was left with no alternative other than accept the position as such.
I am very happy with my current position at US Customs and the people I work with. However, I am not an active employee of KGS in that I do not help to promote the company on any proposals etc. I really do not have any close ties to them.
I have a hard time working as an employee of any company and feel better and perform better as an independent contractor because that is how I have lived the last 25 years prior to moving to the Wash DC area.
It is my fervent desire to function under contract with you through STS and formally resign from my services with KGS forthwith.
I now look forward to the pleasure of your favorable response at the earliest.
Thank you,
Faithfully yours,
Jerry Harding

Justification of Political Authority

...Justification of Political ity 2008 Justification of Political ity Justification of political ity is one of the fundamental questions in political philosophy. There are multiple issues and controversies involved in this major problem including the meaning of political authority, the distinction between political authority and political power, moral and legal aspects of political authority, and many others. Majority of contemporary political theorists consider that the state has authority in the descriptive sense. This means that the state maintains public order via creating rules and issuing commands that subjects generally obey due to the dominant belief that the state has authority to do so (Hart 1961). However, some thinkers do...

In the development of my project, I made use of a number of rhetorical strategies, which describe the different ways I sought to persuade the readers. Detailed Analysis of The Scarlet Letter by Hawthorne and the Book of Esther

...'The Scarlet Letter' and the book of Esther: scriptural letter and narrative life. Why does Hawthorne give Hester Prynne the name Hester? The question seems an inevitable one for a writer like Hawthorne, who works at least partly in a Spenserian tradition of allegory. Dimmesdale's first name, Arthur, and Hawthorne's daughter's name, Una, suggest some of the influence of Spenser on Hawthorne's acts of naming. Hawthorne himself, as is well known, changed his family name from Hathorne, to distance himself from those Puritan ancestors whose achievements and excesses haunted his fiction. The Scarlet Letter tells of Roger Prynne's reinvention of himself by an act of naming: when he finds his wife Hester in disgrace in the new world he adopts...
