The chances of the replication of the attack locally, could be advanced or supported or are exploited by local extremists to negatively advance their agenda or political aims. ,In this understanding of the importance it is therefore essential to implement beyond the U.S. boundaries the enforcement agencies in order for the possible attacks or issues in the future be averted and expand the information gathering network. This explanation not only shows the relevance of the organizations implications and its drastic effects but it also points to fact like this will attacking and retaliations will create an endless vicious cycle of terrorism and counter-terrorism within the country which will not only affect the country and its infrastructure but the citizens as well (Schilling 2). Another possible ripple effect would be through the reduction of the U.S troop’s commitment to the peacekeeping process, which can be seen through their actions during the countering activities, the continuation of this continuous cycle will put a strain on the country’s finances, which also reduces the level of patriotism. These tasks eventually become tedious and ineffective since the terrorist always manage to counter and this dictates that there has to be improvement in intelligence collection, combat and alliances and this as initially stated becomes a cycle, which never ends. All these demands and attention to the small wars eventually shift the countries focus from adjusting its development process to military advancement, which affects the nation and citizens due to the misplaced priorities. In conclusion, counter terrorism incorporates the tactics, practice, strategies and techniques that militaries, governments and private corporations among other institutions use to attack acts or threats from terrorists both imputed and real.
