It goes further to identifying ethical issues found especially in Assam region that produces most of the company’s tea leaves. A wider range of sustainability and effective supply chain management is explored. Recommendations are then provided citing evidence from the paper details.

Introduction

The company opened discussions that the concerned production of healthy and marketable products from a collection of various tea leaves from Assam in India. I decided to gather relevant information through undertaking some research on behalf of the company and for the company’s interests. The company will only perform the production chain is efficient and has motivated employees. The plan that I came up with will push the company to a higher level of financial performance as it provides ethical, sustainable practices and enhances the brand’s reputation.

As a processing industry, forming more tightly, and aligned value supply chain is necessary in order to capture efficiencies, reduce risks ad control costs while responding to customers’ needs. There is a challenge in managing the supply chain as globalization has brought competition that requires producers to maximize efficiency and companies to improve customer services. There is an interconnection between tea production and sustainability concept as tea is a natural resource. The company should focus on supply chain management on improving social, environmental and economic aspects to get a competitive advantage. Ethical issues discussed falls under the social aspect (Husti, 2006).
