Distribution of the Energy Gum Product There exists a need to break down the chain in the production and sale of soft drinks because of the various activities involved with manufacturing, bottling, market research and distribution. In the course of availing the energy gum to the end users, there will be a need to use intermediaries like retailers, which include established enterprises that sell services and/or goods directly to the final consumers. In essence, their use will be facilitated by the fact that the target market for energy gum in Qatar is geographically widespread, and it might be expensive for the company to set up its retail stores.

In addition, these intermediaries will supplement the companys sales force. In distributing our products, we will use food importers and wholesalers in Qatar like Abdul Hussain Mohd Khoory Store, Abdulla Ali & Sons for Foodstuff Co, Abdulaziz Mohd Sadiq Foodstuff, Ahmed Khalil Al Baker & Sons, Abd, ulla Mohd Sadeq Agencies, Al-Ansari & Al Aujan Co WLL, Ahmed Shaikh Hassan Al Ansari Trading Est inter alia. The choice of Qatar importers and wholesalers was driven by the fact that they are well familiar with their local soft drinks market, and can offer considerable information to assist and guide us in improving our gum product to meet the market taste and preferences.

In addition, they have strong relationships with their local suppliers and buyers. Given that our gum product will be new in the Qatar soft drinks market, these importers and wholesalers will facilitate its introduction as a new brand as we would do ourselves. In simple words, the Qatar importers and wholesalers will enable us to access the international market with a lot of ease by avoiding logistic issues, as well as many trade-related risks. Besides the use of importers and wholesalers, we can use Qatar retailers, including supermarkets and hypermarkets.

Among them include the Al Khor Mall, Al Jawhar Foodstuffs Est, Al Afiya Supermarket, Ahmed Salmin Shamlan and Partners, Al Markhiya Complex, Al Meera, Al Matar Commercial Center, Al Name Supermarket, Al Rawabi Group of Companies WLL among others. This choice of distribution of our gum product was considered appropriate because Qatar citizen have now opted to virtually carry out their shopping in the supermarket and hypermarket as opposed to other shopping centers and central markets as was reported by cuteness.

These retailers will offer us invaluable because they will enable our gum product to reach the target market of Qatar population. In addition, they will help in building our brand’s demand through retail promotions and offering customer feedback. Through these retailers, we believe that we will win the customers’ loyalty and lead to increased sales and profits. The customers will always access our gum product whenever they need and in small quantities, which they will consider reasonably affordable.

Given the widespread of retailers and their retail stores, customers will always find it convenient to make purchases from their homes. The choice of these retailers for use in the distribution of the energy gum was profoundly influenced by Qatar laws. According to the International Business Publications, Foreign companies are not permitted to market their services or products directly to the consumers (Ibpus.com, International Business Publications, USA). Instead, they are supposed to use local agents to do so, especially where such a foreign company does not have an appropriately registered entity in Qatar.
