Advertising Campaign Page1: Write a page describing the product/service/whatever. Only list the things that matter to the public (don’t talk about history of the brand or any of that crap unless it connects with the public, this means you might need to do more research, so you can find something the audience will care about. Tibetan Gemstone Online Store (Products shipped and sold through websites like Amazon etc.) Gemstones have always been recognized for their vigorous appeal. Throughout the past they have been praised as gifts from the deities, honored as divine amulet and solicited as a mark of success. It is assumed that the visual allure of a gemstone is simply a portion of its magnificent truth. Hidden within the core of a gemstone we find dynamic qualities that can grant, help and heal. Gemstone rings Tibetan Mantra rings are our specialty. One of a kind hand crafted jewelry ranging from bracelets, to necklaces to prayer beads. Each piece is made entirely with hands and old fashioned tools. It also means that no two pieces are similar giving each piece an association with the owner. Page 2: Write a page describing the public (hint: it’s not “everybody”). Your goal is to make your audience large enough to matter (to generate enough sales), but small enough to have a relationship with (so you don’t have to make the message so politically correct that it’s boring). In this page, have: Demographic information The people who are interested in our Tibetan gemstones are gem collectors who love antiques and like to keep old fashioned jewelry, ornaments and gemstones as collection, and the people that are specifically interested in Tibetan culture and jewelry. The products here are also for those who like mystical Asian arts, crafts and gems. People that fall in this demographic are usually older people and who can afford to pay for precious stones, which means they earn above the average peoples’ income. Psychographic information. This is how they’re likely to think. The older and the rarer a gemstone is, the more they will value it. These people usually go beyond than just fair/market pricing. They value a gem based on their emotional appeal. If they like a stone, they will buy it. Even if they have to go through financial trouble because they understand each stone is unique. If they cannot seal the deal, they might lose the stone forever. So they would go at extra lengths to get a stone. Professional gem traders also fall in the same category but they are only driven by price. The more profit they can make off of a sale the eager they will be to buy/sell it. They don’t take these stones home as artifacts. They hoard them to sell. It would be our priority to sell directly to the buyer and avoid the brokers but sometimes the third parties are the necessary evil. Habits /ways of thinking Gem collectors obsess over stones and keep them as medals. They do not like to sell them because they are emotionally attached to them. Sometimes people buy stones to pass on to their future generations. When this chain is broken (when they have to sell a family jewel) it is not an easy thing to do. On the whole, gems are not bought for their financial value, however, in when in need these stones can serve as excellent financial cushion. A pen portrait. This is a half-page description of a single audience member. You’ll stitch together the information you learned in the above three areas to tell a story about a single audience member. You’ll even give them a name, a pet or a significant other. Paul Rich, 56, an American stock broker. He is well off and has sufficient bank account to fund his gem collection. Paul started collecting gem stones since he was a child. His father was also a gem collector. Paul says that when his father showed him a ring of his grandfather, he was immediately fascinated by its captivating beauty. Since then he decided to keep a collection of gemstones. Over the years, he has invested a considerable sum of money to acquire gems from all over the world. He lives in America, one of the most modern societies of the word. Compared to some other countries of the world (like China) it doesn’t have that rich and diverse history. Probably for this reason Paul is more interested in learning about different cultures and especially their artifacts and precious stones. He has traveled many times to different countries only to examine a stone. He was specially captivated by Central Asian and Indian gemstones. He already has many gemstones from Asia but he likes to know and collect more items. He wants to keep Tibetan stones for there are so many myths that surround these stones. He is intrigued by the mystery of Tibetan gemstones and fascinated by their beauty. Once sentence for each of the following: What is the product (or service or brand), who is it for and why do they (the audience) care? The products are Tibetan gemstones including but not limited to; Tibetan tektite, blue Tibetan sapphire, Dzi beads, Tibetan quartz and Tibet Andesine. It is for gem collectors. They care because we have a collection of very rare Tibetan gems.
