The world of luxury is the aspired world for most of us. People work day in and day out to stay happy and better. After a certain standard of living, when his living goes higher than the majority of his contemporaries and is with in the periphery of the aspired level of many, it is considered to be luxurious. There are certain terms associated with the so-called luxurious life like high priced, few in number, high in quality, etc. The essence of being luxury brand is not to become public and be with in the periphery of a few selected.
Luxury brands are those that are associated with the lifestyle of the well-offs and the upper middle class of the society. The products would not be available in all and every public places but only in few select locations. The various brands of luxury include the likes of Gucci, Hermes, Dior, Prada and Hugo Boss among many others.

As Jackson observed few years back that most of the truly luxury brands have a global image with rich heritage in its favour. Such brands, time and again, come into the news coverage of the media. Rolex, Clive Christian and Krug are few of the other major luxury brands across the globe (Jackson, 2004).

Hugo Boss is a leading player in the international fashion market. The company produces shoes, business ensembles, functional sport wears, leather accessories; casual sports clothing, fragrances, cosmetics, evening wears, body wears, and also includes bags, eye wear and watches. The product ranges suggest that the company has a huge variety of products.

The group was established in the year of 1923 and started offering business suits since the middle decade of the last century. But the group decided to expand beyond the business suits only in the 1990s.
