Marketing case Snack Bars being new in Indonesia, sales promotions need to be done in the right way so as to penetrate the market. This means our objectives should be in line with creating awareness of our products to the target in a way they will embrace them. As Snack Bar we have to ensure that our brand becomes competitive in terms of price and diversity of the product. It is apparent that when the public trust our products they will be loyal. Also, the sales will go up with time. Our first sales promotion objective is to coordinate the development of a new ad campaign with an advertising firm with the aim of increasing brand recognition to 50 percent of the urban population.

The other objective is to complete product launch plan and get sign off from sales after three months. Also the sales promotion will give offers to the customers who will be loyal in buying snacks and beverages within the first two months since customers are the pillar to one’s business (Yeshin,135). The promotions will be under $150,000 dollars budget. The $150,000 will cater for the advertisement cost. The promotions will be of advertisements through the major Television stations and radios.

A portion of the budget will finance the television and radio advertisements. In attempt to promote the new product, the same budget will finance press release in other broadcasting media like newspaper, posters and banners. Also, promotions will be done through the newspapers and banners in the targeted cities. The message will be that we sell different types of snacks at an affordable price, which will suit the growing number of middle-class people in the country. Our personal selling objective will be creating awareness to the people who are working of our products.

It is evident that there will be delivery services of our products to the customers comfort. The budget for this is $200,000 dollars, which will cater for the delivery of the snacks to the customers. It will involve 30 salespeople who will be allocated in different areas. Their roles will be to sell the brand of Snack Bars and get as many orders as possible. The $200,000 will finance the transportation of the product from the producing cite to the convenience of the customers by the 30 salespeople with the use of vehicles and motorbikes.

Publicity is essential if our company will become successful in Indonesia. The budget allocated for this is 100,000 dollars. The publicity will be achieved through frequent press release in popular newspapers and business journals, which will be financed by the 100,000 dollars allocation. 30,000 dollars from the 100,000 dollars allocation for publicity will be used to create and run the company website. This will also enhance creation of awareness and publicity of the product to achieve the objectives of the company.

One of the objectives is to obtain at least 2000 new customers each month. This will possible if we locate ourselves strategically in the various cities in Indonesia and get referrals through the services we give. Another objective is that we will be writing three press releases each quarter and ensure that it appears in business journals and newspapers in Indonesia. This will enable to publicize our services and products to the Indonesians middle-class population. This promotion plan reaches the targeted market through our diversity in marketing Snack Bars.

This through the adverts in television and newspapers that are easily accesses by the growing number of middle-class citizens. Also the sales people play a great role in spreading the awareness to the locals as they move from one area to another with samples of our products. This promotion plan motivates the target market due to the affordability of our products and the variety that is in the stores. In conclusion, the parts of our promotion plan fits together because the main goal is to sell the brand of Snack Bar to the Indonesian population.

It is evident that through this promotion the sales will grow and Snack Bar will be a competitive brand in Indonesia. It will also enable smooth operations of the company within Indonesia.
