The trade associations are always founded on specific industries and are usually funded by various businesses. Trade association is also known as business association, sector association or industry trade group. Its main aim is to create collaboration between various companies, networking, offering educational materials and creation of events.

The North American Free Trade Association (NAFTA) The North America Free Trade Association was formed with an aim of facilitating a frictionless trade between the member states of NAFTA. The association developed a treaty that is one of the most successful and powerful treaties ever to be signed incorporating Canada, Mexico and the United States of America. The treaty was put in place in the year 1994 on 1st January. The NAFTA brought the North American Agreement for Economic Corporation and the North American Agreement for Labor Corporation on board to the treaty.

The trade association was later to incorporate the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America after the September 11th attack at the World Trade Center. The trade association plays an important role in the marketing of the member countries’ goods. All the goods of the NAFTA have labels that are printed in French, Spanish and English. This marketing strategy has highly benefited the ranchers, farmers and consumer in the regions. NAFTA has been working in the elimination of the various barriers of trade in the service sectors of the member states.

There has also been a reduction of the Mexican tariffs, thus, there has been the promotion of agricultural exports as part of the marketing strategy for the trade association. The trade association has also come handy in assisting various firms in bidding on the government contracts through spanning of among the three nations. NAFTA has also been important in its assistance of assuring fair market values to all the investors through effecting a reduction in risks and seeing into it that there is equality in terms of legal rights.

In this manner, the local investors have had a fair share of the investment and marketing for their products. Through the NAFTA, the member states have achieved a globalized state thereby increasing the market base for the products that are produced by various investors in the regions. The trade benefits of the NAFTA have been immense and have eventually spread out to the region (Gianaris, 1998). Job bored Being a sales and marketer can at times prove to be a boring job. As much as it involves the movement from place to place, it comes with a lot of frustrations and fatigue especially when the payments are done on the basis of sales done.

Specifically, being a sales and marketing officer for an insurance firm is boring. The target market at times does not give a hearing to what one has for them. The marketing procedure is always tiresome and none interesting. As much as marketing career is my career choice, the prospects in it are not interesting at all. At times, it is always like trying to force a piece of bread into the throat of the customers. Some customers do ask a lot of questions during the marketing process only not to do anything about the information that one has given to them.
