Scope of the project- communication style Comparison Verizon Company engages in the advanced technology in its communication through the organization. From the leaders to any employee in the company, unified communications and collaboration as well mobility capabilities have been applied. The company uses video and web conferencing, instant messaging, internet protocol within the organization set up as well as to its other branches. The digital communication is deemed as a fun way of communication.
The costs of this however are huge. Formal communication is highly sensitized on where the leaders are in charge of the company’s communication (Bonnye,220).AT &T Company on the hand uses formal communication within the organization set up like the Verizon Company. The leaders often relay the message through conferences, using high speed internet, Wi-Fi, and voice services. Open communication is however encourage from its employees to the leaders in matters of advancing knowledge in the existing forms of communication as well as innovative ideas.
Both companies have been seen to be in the industry of enhancing effective and efficiency in technological communication. They have come up with these new methods of communication to be used in organizations to enhance the speed at which information is relayed to the recipient. Communication has been analyzed as the core subject to success in any company. As a result, the two companies are at their best to achieve this. The wireless connection is among the latest technology being implemented. Questions addressed:1.
What is the cost benefit analysis for these forms of communication?2. Can these chosen methods be used in other organizations effectively?3. What is the rate at which the communication is done?4. What is the target audience of the communication devices and modes?5. What improvements can be made to add to their style of communication?6. What are the limitations of these methods of communication?NOTE: the methods and technology behind the modes of communication in question will not be analyzed in details in this project.
