Managerial Marketing-Executive Briefing: WebCore Computers WebCore Computers WebCore Computers has operatedfor a period of one year since its operations kicked off and since then, it has identified areas of weakness and devised some strategies to address them as well as capitalized on its strengths. For this reason, it has continued to exist in the market but the management has to formulate some strategies that will enhance the company’s productivity and have a competitive advantage over established competitors.

This will ensure that the company’s management will address the different areas of weakness to ensure that it has secured a strong customer-base and ensure it can reach out to as many clients as possible (Niven, 2010). Current Status In its first month of operation, the WebCore Computers obtained 10,000 computers and placed some of them on the display shelves to ensure that customers would identify them. At the end of the first month of the operational year, the company had sold one thousand and two hundred of the computers only because its marketing had not reached many people.

However, since the implementation of marketing in the environments of the company through the television and newspapers, the company has improved in making sales. Now, the company has grown to make sales of at least five thousand five hundred computers each month, which has ensured that the company returns has been on the rise. In some months, the company sold up to seven thousand computers to its customers and this has ensured that its performance has improved from the initial sales of few computers in its first month.

However, this target is lower than the one company had in the beginning of the year, which was to be an average of 7500 computers per month so that it can realize a certain amount of financial returns. In the financial performance, the company started with difficulty but has since then picked up since the sales increased and the company opened up to many customers. However, the financial status of the company is below the target because of the spending it had in the starting the business. A lot of money went to marketing, and payment of licenses as well as establishing the offices and buying of other equipments that could facilitate its business operations.

The company will need to improve the areas of the sales so that it can increase its financial gains and on the implementation of marketing, the company will need to work on cost effective strategies of marketing that will ensure that it saves some money (Niven, 2010). The strengths of WebCore Computers include that it has large potential space for expansion and has very innovative employees that are able to come up with a plans to maximize on any opportunity to sell products. The company has some weaknesses, which include that it has a lot of manual operation in the processing of sales, which means that it takes the company long time to deal with a few customers.

Another weakness is that it is has only one sale outlet which makes it less convenient for customers to access the company premises even though they could be having the willingness to buy from the company (Niven, 2010). Analysis WebCore Computers can improve its performance in the market if it can offer services that are of higher quality than they are doing at the current state. This is because although the company has offered quality services that many customers have embraced and are readily considering when it comes to buying of computers.

The competitors that offer similar services have invested in sale of laptops, desktops and other software that are required in the computers as opposed to the WebCore Computers, which sells laptops and few desk tops. Because of their establishment in business, the competitors are able diversify their products and offers services at discounted prices. To enable WebCore Computers to establish itself in the market, it will need to open new branches in other cities nearby and diversify the products to the customers through sale of computers of all types and some software so that it can increase the convenience of delivery of services to customers.

This will ensure that it has won many customers who will buy its computers and this will ensure that it can sell them at low prices as compared to its competitors (Havaldar, 2010). Future Planning WebCore Computers has identified the need for efficiency in the process of buying and selling of commodities so that it can be able to save on the time of its customers. To address this issue, WebCore Computers will establish a system of online purchasing, which will ensure that customers can make orders and pay for them without necessarily going to the company premises.

On the other hand, WebCore Computers has identified the essence of marketing and a need to come up with a perfect strategy to use social media marketing to reach as many people as it can. Through these plans, WebCore Computers will have customers in different parts of the world and this will ensure that it is the greatest computer company in the world since none of its competitors has implemented such plans (Havaldar, 2010).
