These dashboards are the antithesis of the spreadsheets in the form of grids, replacing them with charts of all types, gauges, dials, and colors to display the exact information to the most unaccomplished user. For instance, if a firm wants to know how many counterfeit dollars are in circulation, one person could employ an application like Micro-strategy to come up with a dashboard to display information that has been requested in a matter of minutes by getting data from its existing source. A dashboard can also be quickly manipulated to get down to the bare specifics in case one wants to know where the dollars are located geographically. It feels better knowing all there is to know, about the business, to expand or streamline the pipeline limits instead of waiting for annual or quarterly reports.
