The paper "Chinese Managerial Values" is a good example of a management thesis. Chen (1993) going further in history makes comments on Confucius's life. He had several publications to his name which include Analects of Confucius, Five Classics, Classics of Rites, Spring & Autumn Annals (Sun 2002). Modern historians have dismissed the fact that any of the documentations were actually written by Confucius; however, Chinese historians have debated otherwise (Watson p.21, 1996).

Confucius Personal Main Life Philosophy

His life philosophy was a massive inspiring guide to others; this statement was confirmed by Legge (1970), Hall (1987), Lu (1983). In his analects (2:4), Confucius summarized his life as shown below:

At 15 I set my heart on learning; at 30 I firmly took my stand; at 40 I had no delusions; at 50 I knew the Mandate of Heaven; at 60 my ear was attuned; at 70 I followed my heart's desire without overstepping the boundaries of right.

His life summary was a well-known fact to many Chinese and Chinese have this as a guide to shape their life.
