MENT OF SCOPE. PURPOSE: The required objective is the creation of a green space in a neighborhood that is not very well off. People with average earning capabilities live in the vicinity thus the neighborhood is termed as low-income. BACKGROUND: The background of the current project is that about a city block size big piece of land needs to be rehabilitated. For years this land is being used as a general place of dumping. This was because the place was not in use and was just an empty plot. This project aims at the utilization of this block of land for better use. It is proposed that the said piece of land be cleared of the entire dump and used productively. The proposed objectives are the making of a playground along with the installation of walking paths and different plants and trees etc. SCOPE: The scope of the proposed objectives incorporates several stakeholders. These include all the residents of the neighborhood that are quite a few in number. Moreover, it specifically includes all kids eager to play in the proposed playground along with all elders willing to walk on the new walking track that is proposed. KNOWLEDGE and COMMUNICATIONS: It is imperative that the opinion of the neighbors be sought regarding the execution of the proposed project. This is done by distribution of a questionnaire in the neighborhood or the conduction of interviews of representatives of each house in the vicinity. The feedback that is obtained is essential for modifying the proposed order requirements in line with the requirements of the stakeholders. This communication provides the project managers with the required knowledge for the execution of this order. PROCESSES: The processes to be incorporated into the system are then decided. These can be assessed into the first hierarchal breakdown of the project. The processes thus might be: ‘Collection of suggestions from stakeholders’, ‘Cleaning Current Debris’, ‘Feasibility Study of solution’ and ‘Installation’. PROJECT AND MANAGERIAL APPROACH: Route to the execution of tasks is decided. This is followed by the production of deliverables. The manager is supposed t take into account all the team building considerations. The number of teams that need to be made, the number of personnel involved in the teams, their working hours, the expertise they should incorporate, the remuneration that should be assigned to them etc. It should be taken into account by the manager that whether the personnel incorporated to execute the tasks need any kind of training or not. If required then the required training needs to be administered. Meetings with the workforce and the stakeholders need to be scheduled. Moreover, the issues of scope management and conflict management need to be resolved. CONSTRAINTS and BALLPARK ESTIMATES: The constraints associated with the creation of a green space in the neighborhood need to be taken into account. These constraints include the start date of the project, the deadlines assigned for the completion of each phase, task and subtask. The budget associated with each step in the process and the technological constraints that the team faces. These might include the technology of assessing the environmental hazards associated with the cleaning of the dump for instance. The schedule of the tasks in the proposed project needs to be followed strictly. CONDITIONS OF SATISFACTION: The conditions of satisfaction of the creation of a green space involve the success criteria of the proposed order. Any risks involved in the order’s execution need to be accounted for. This might include unavoidable circumstances such as the malfunction of machinery at the eleventh hour. Accounting for these risks also involves the fact that alternate machinery might need to be arranged so that the schedule of the tasks’ execution does not get affected and all the proposed deadlines are met.
