Knowledge-Sharing Culture of Saudi Aramco - Dissertation Example

Due to the technological enhancement now it has become necessary to maintain interaction among the employees to understand the new concepts and to acquire more knowledge on an existing matter. For surviving in this competitive world an organization needs to come up with innovative ideas and to welcome those novelties it is necessary to implement knowledge management or knowledge sharing instruments. In Saudi Aramco, knowledge share has been termed as the ‘ShareK’. This paper has tried to highlight the knowledge sharing culture of Saudi Aramco.

To understand the actual condition and status of knowledge sharing in that company, the researcher has adopted various techniques. Intentionally more effort has been given to the qualitative approach and secondary data. This is because of the constraints in accessing primary data. The interview process has been considered. The main interview has been taken of the employees and experts of Saudi Aramco. Basically three tools have been implemented to analyze the research paper. These are reviews of literature and case studies.

In the literature review part, it has been intended to find out the basic concept of knowledge management, its origin and benefits. Along with that understanding, the company profile was also very important. Apart from that, there has been an effort made to link both pieces of knowledge sharing culture and Saudi Aramco. A vast portion of this paper is allotted for this literature review. Another method is the case study. In this paper, three-issue or problem has been discussed. All those are related to the knowledge sharing in Saudi Aramco.

In the first part of this paper general introduction of the core, topics have been done. That will provide the reader with a basic idea about the topic. Then on the next part, the research aim and purpose have been discussed. Even research limitation has also been described. According to the normal research paper, this paper also is designed in four parts.
