Food – An External Caterer seemed to be a wiser alternative compared to an internal facility. An internal facility seemed too luxurious and could probably promote patients not eating on time. Aside from being less expensive, an external caterer would make the dining area more spacious. A larger eating area can house more patients so that they could eat together and thus promote interaction among one another. In the case of patients getting hungry between meals, the center still offers a facility for cooking light refreshments.

Medication – Although much expensive, and Automatic Dispenser is more accurate. With the automatic dispenser, residents can be traced they have indeed obtained their required medicine. And since they are the only ones who know their individual codes it is easy to check if they have complied with a specific dosage regimen.
Recreation – I checked Recreation Area, Library, and the TV Room. Recreation is essential to one’s recovery from illness and trauma. The sports area will provide effective wellness and fitness programs for the residents. The upgraded amenities offered by the Library will be for leisure and also for the learning process. A TV Room would be great for entertainment. These facilities will provide the patient with a "sound mind, sound body."

I left out the Transportation because the residents wouldn’t always be going out for a leisure trip and the two new vans can only accommodate 30 passengers and 12 wheelchairs. Perhaps renting transportation for occasional trips is wiser.
Communication – I chose Dedicated Telephone over Internet Access because internet access is very expensive. If residents need internet services, they can access the web in the library. In addition, communication over the telephone is much clearer as compared to the internet. ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

...Grand Nursing Theorist Report Helen Erickson Modeling/ Role Modeling Modeling/ Role Modeling Erickson was a diploma nurse graduate from Saginau General Hospital. She got her B.S. nursing and then a Masters in psychiatric nursing. Later she received a Doctorate in educational psychology. She wrote a paradigm and Grand theory for nursing which encompassed many mid-range theories and applied clinical practice, educational programs and research (Erickson, Tomlin, & Swain, 2005). The theory is named Modeling and Role Modeling. This paper will discuss the theory developed by Erickson as well as how the theory can be integrated into various types of nursing and the results measured. ... for fulfilling the order. Some more facts reveal that the break-even point for the lemon cookies is around 563,000 packs. The current manufacturing is around 600,000 packs, which turns the cycle into a profitable one, as it goes beyond the breakeven, and this manufacturing is around the same marks as the production requirements and monthly targets. However, increasing the break-even volume to 650,000, would not be profitable, despite the firm bring in operating profits. Though in doing this, the existing unit may be forced to reduce its volumes for lemon cookies, as the variable cost per unit for lemon is on the higher side. These were some outcome from the simulation conducted, however, the three major learning points were the taking...

...In the business world companies embark in various activities internally and externally that require special attention. In order to properly manage these activities companies many times formulated project teams. Project management is an organizational management system that assigns employees to specific project teams when special projects are contracted and then reassigns them back to the organization once the project is completed (Answers, 2009). The organization that regulates and sets standards for the profession is the Project Management Institute. In order to better understand the principles of project management the simulation Achieving Project Goals was studied. This paper summarizes the simulation and provides analysis of project...

Modeling and Simulation Environments (Infusing Technology in the Classroom)

...Running head: Technology-oriented learning Infusing Technology in the room [Institute’s Infusing Technology in the room Researches reveal that since the 1980s, efforts were made to carry out strategic plans as to infuse the technological parameters in the learning process occurred in the classrooms. In the mid 1980s, Educational Technology Center (ETC) was founded at the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a vision to assess the impact caused by technological integration in mathematics and science courses (Mandinach & Cline, 1994). In the technology-oriented works for educational setups, a number of software focusing on modeling and simulations has been worked out. It has also been argued that the best way for students to learn...

Modeling Evaluation

A Review of a Structural Equation Modeling Process Structural equation modeling (SEM) is a statistical modeling technique that provides a comprehensive approach to research questions (Burnette & Williams, 2010). SEM is becoming increasingly more popular in researches that involve the behavioral sciences because of its ability to specify and test linear relationships among variables. Oftentimes, a simple bivariate experiment is not a feasible option when researchers investigate human behavior in its natural setting (Haar & Brougham, 2010). Furthermore, researchers in the areas of organizational behavior, management, business, and applied psychology are often interested in multivariate relationships among some or all of the variab...

... like SolidWorks and IronCAD in 1995 (Shapiro 474). In addition, the development of the solid edge in 1996 and that of Autodesk Inventor in 1999 played a critical role in the development of solid modeling. The first viable applications of computer aided designs were in large industries in the aerospace and automotive firms, and also in electronics (Shapiro 476). This was because only such large organizations could afford the computers that were able to perform calculations. The famous company projects included a joint project of Dr. Hanratty called GM, and IBM project that developed a prototype system that was used by design engineers. The development of solid modeling was catalyzed by planning, simulation as well as verification...

Use of Modeling and Simulation in the Design of the Boeing 777

...Use of modeling and simulation in the design of the Boeing 777 Introduction The Boeing 777 is one of the most successful commercial airplanes made in the industry. The design process started in 1990 and the first plane was delivered in 1995, a remarkably short design period for a complex engineering product such as an airplane. Though the plane was initially designed for a production run of 300 planes, as of August 2013, over 1100 of these wide body airlines had been delivered. Airlines continue to order these planes 17 years after the first production and the current production rate is 100 a year (Tinseth, Randy, 2013). The aircraft has also had an unblemished safety record and even the crash of the Asiana Airlines...
