Careers and Self- Employment In creating a business, it is essential for an individual to pursue a business which is in line with what the individual is passionate about. Jessica Williams, Courtney Wagner and Bill Auxter are a few of the many entrepreneurs working their dreams. The three are the identified speakers in the assignment.Jessica Williams works with Bailiwicks Coffee Company. The company sells coffee in its offices while holding events for instance art exhibitions. Jessica encouraged flexibility in creating the business plan.

The business owner should be open to suggestions from the customers on the products the customers prefer and which ones they do not require. Moreover, she encouraged outsourcing professionals.Courtney Wagner works in a family company which makes industrial products. The legacy of the company is to help at least 35 families in the region where the company is situated. This passion towards helping people makes the employees be motivated to work while also establishes a good relationship between the employees and the employers.

Courtney encouraged commitment to the work and networking to improve the business.Training and consulting are key elements for anyone who intends to start a business. Bill Auxter works with I- Services a company which provides training and consulting to anyone who intends to start or develop a business. The company acquire government funding so they offer their services for free. Bill encouraged specializing in the best areas and outsourcing professionals for areas where one has little expertise.

Moreover, he encouraged that one should accommodate uncontrollable variables for instance change in rates, which may affect the way the business runs.Passion is a key element in determining a business that a person will pursue. Therefore, people should go towards developing businesses in areas they are passionate about to ensure that the business runs effectively.Works Cited
