CHANGE PLAN al Affiliation Background The old care facility is based at Tampa in Florida where an increasing number of old aged individuals in the area has been recorded. The increment has been caused by the improvement in living standards among individuals in the area. The facility established in 1977 as a strategy to help the old age group in the society, which was initiated by members of the society with the same motive because siblings deserted most of the older age group. The facility has faced various setbacks including social, economic political, and technical in the dynamic global society. However, the facilitys corporate structure has come with various strategies to deal with highlighted challenges affecting the facility. As a result, the merged has emerged as one of the most prominent old care agency in Miami. Employee culture has been supportive of the development of the facility, which has contributed to the achievement of the most vital goals and objectives. The county and Federal governments have also been supportive through economic, social, and cultural contributions to the agency. Additionally, charity organizations have also played a major role in the financial maintenance of the facility. Consequently, the facility has been capable of holding more than a thousand old individuals in the society. Moreover, the community nursing has also been emphasized in the region whereby nurses can directly attend to the old in various communities. Organizational change is involved The organizational change is based on the Theory of change that is based on the achievements of the long-term goals of the facility (Cunliffe, 2008). The theory operates on the principles that a non-profit organization has an obligation to achieve the goals and objectives of an organization in both the short and long-term periods (Cunliffe, 2008). As a result, the long-term goals have been a motivational factor for a better future of the organization and society. Importantly, the society has been a major beneficiary of the facilitys organizational change. The county government has come up with a financing strategy that has helped reduce the cost of facilitys operational activities. Importantly, the facility has also been involved in assisting the non-well up towns in the society. As a result, the changes have been noted and publicized by international welfare organizational facilities that deal with taking care of the old. The changes that have occurred in the society have made a major improvement in the society. Objectives of the change initiative The facility has gathered information based on experiences of other old caring facilities enabling it to recreate programs and facilities that have generated modern equipment. The main objective is to incorporate technology in most of its operations due to the increasing competition in old age facilitation. This factor has been challenged by the advancement in technology; hence, forcing the facility to adapt to the modern technology. The facility has embraced the online platform to educate the elderly modern physical activities that will assist them maintaining their health status. The activities include modern day gymnastics and yoga practices. The facility has undertaken investments with the support of governments charitable organizations to build integrated facilities. Subsequently, the organizations will diversify in both social and cultural factors; hence, creating an urban-rural relationship. The facility further aims at integrating with the community nursing to make sure that all the elderly persons have been catered for in the society. Stakeholders and their significance the change initiative An increase in the number of supporters has been observed since the establishment of the facility; hence, leading to the increase in the number shareholder. Consequently, the integration has also led to social assimilation due to different cultures. This association from the old era to the modern society has worked with charitable organizations, programs, and the government. The major stakeholders include political leaders, investors and other leaders from charitable organizations. The shareholders have played a vital role in the financial and psychological supports of the facility. The shareholders have also motivated the public in contributing financially to the organization. The shareholders have also been involved in the facilitys change initiative. The financial contributions have enabled both rural and urban facilities to shift from analogue equipment to modern technology. The shareholders have also facilitated technological advancements through mechanization of the health sector. Remarkably, shareholders have been major contributors to the facilitys development. Driving and restraining forces The facility has been successful due to various factors including shareholders and other charitable organizations. More driving forces are based on the firm’s objectives; hence, contribute to the success of the firm. The organization is non-profit based and has attracted many donors leading to more financial support. However, the facility has also faced challenges that have restrained it from development. The restraining forces include financial constraints and political differences. List the risks and how these will be addressed Corruption due to political conflict is one of the major risks affecting the facility and the society. The risk has been caused by the presence of various political ideologies. The facility has planned to address the issue using nonpartisan organizations. Likely resistors to the change initiative The diversity in individual behaviour has contributed to the failure of attainment of objectives. The initiative is bound to instigate change among the assigned community. However, the facilitys effort to resist the setbacks has led to a dilemma in the comprehension of the change theory that has already been implemented by the facility. Strategies for the change initiative The facility has been involved in various strategies to change its perception on the theory of change. Additionally, the facility has also embraced the online platform to extend its coverage kin the involved community. Outline of mentor’s discussion influence on the Change Plan The interview with the concerned party has revealed that the change strategy that has been embraced by the facility is worthwhile. The facility’s corporate structure has answered most of the questions based on the facility’s operational activities. The interview has revealed the facility’s strategies that have been involved in enhancing social change. Impacts of success of the change initiative and ways of being measured, monitored and evaluated The facility’s change objective will be measured in terms of the number of elderly patients that is has served.
