Leadership development plan Leadership is a social influence on a group of people towards a common goal and achievement. It is the ability to draw people to the vision mixed with much admiration and respect. Developing a leadership plan is a serious endeavor, as it needs more of the time, and effort since leaders are valuable members of the society. The Indiana State could improve the quality of education and leadership styles by provision of educational facilities in colleges with the leadership development curriculum within their syllabus.

The state universities like the Indiana Wesleyan University inculcate good morals and values to their students in order to produce experiences and principled leaders in the future. The students have an obligation to be faithful, being steadfastly loyal and adhering to duty and true to ones word. Development of self-control to enable the student and the community to grow using self-restraint and good judgment skills in thought, words, and action. Promotion of humility accurately develops good qualities free from pride and arrogance.

The state should encourage the value of being kind and appreciative of others placing their priority first. The organization of military and leadership clubs, which provide the integration of faith, based living and military mindset training the students of good leadership skills in the military environment (Akers 61). Indiana State should encourage creation of recognized university student organizations to instill perfect leadership qualities among the college students preparing them for future leadership.

The State’s education system considers students first by focusing on the individuals who promote real learning of students every day. The devotion and hard work of teachers lead to the success of the students in treating them as professionals with the prospect of making great leaders in the future. The Indiana state government should improve the health care system to ensure that all the students are medically sound to access their education without much complication. The Medicare advancements would guarantee the physical health of many students in schools and college while increasing the number of intellectuals in the society.

The move would positively enable the state to produce young professional and energetic leaders in the future. The Education system in Indiana State accepts the leadership development skills and plans, which are within the college academic curriculum. The program equips the students with leadership skills upon the completion of their courses. The State must invest heavily in the career development guidance and counseling departments in the colleges to help mold the students for future leadership.

The state should concentrate on the formulation of the college programs such as the ISUcceed programs to assist students in gathering reliable academic study skills. The skills help the students to develop excellent leadership and professional skills that helps them throughout college and beyond. The state should improve student training in the sustainability leadership programs to empower them in their various fields of study and advance knowledge of sustainability to better society. Upon completion of this program, students demonstrate leadership skills in sustainability in any area.

The Indiana State should provide formal education about leadership, by rapidly increasing the number of colleges offering classes in leadership studies. The merit of the training is imparting leadership skills essential in the job-seeking environment. The experimental learning by many colleges and universities provide adventure-learning centers within the campuses helping in developing internal qualities of students to produce credible leaders. There are seasonal seminars organized by colleges and universities related to leadership development provided by experienced prominent national speakers to motivate student’s leadership skills.
