However, the creation of a lunchroom in the office where people would be required to keep their foods would reduce the odours and scents from ethnic foods marginally. This would be followed by a policy that prevents people from bringing their foods to the office section. The creation of personalized drawers for food storage in the lunchroom would also be critical in ensuring that all employees place their foods in the set location. Another approach to this model is using reactive chemistry compounds that reduce irritation and mitigate odours in public spaces (Wolkoff et al 8).
Secondly, body hygiene and body odour are unrelated. Some of the employees might have odourless bodies while others would have stronger body odours. Establishing the main source of the odours among the four promising employees of the company would be vital before the development of any policy. Germs and bacterial infections can cause body and mouth odours (Willacy "Embarrassing Problems"). In consequence, the first objective would be speaking to the people involved about the problem and the discomfort it causes the clients and their colleagues. Secondly, inquiring if it has anything to do with their hygiene would be preferable, and once identified that it is linked to their personal hygiene request them to take their personal hygiene seriously for the greater good of their careers and their colleagues as well.
For permanent body odours, such as those caused by aging of the skin, as is the case for the elderly employee, proposing the use of body deodorant to such an employee would be a good consideration.
