Leadership and Change Part In this age, sustainability is the most essential requirement of an organization. However, in order to achieve it, maximum extent of the organizations desire to recruit highly experienced and knowledgeable leaders or supervisors within the organization. Although, after recruitment, maximum extent of the workforce react negatively thereby hindering the motivation or inner inspiration of the leader or supervisor. Similar situation is faced by me after entering a new organization as a supervisor. Maximum extent of the employees reacted with me negatively and also presented a cool feeling towards me. All the employees presented such a feeling mainly due to neurosis or mental distress. This means, if an employee or employees are not mentally satisfied with the organizational culture or management strategies then such a situation arises. Not only this, maximum extent of co-workers reacted very roughly that lowered my perception towards them. Such a situation aroused mainly due to lack of communication or interpersonal skills. As the employees created a communicational gap within me and them, so their level of dedication and commitment towards the assigned goals also declined significantly. Along with this, the level of performance and productivity of the employees of my department also reduced that hampered the portfolio of the organization in the market. In addition, due to lack of dedication, our department failed to achieve the targets that hindered our reputation among other subsequent departments of the organization. Moreover, due to communicational gap, the other employees of our department failed to converse with me that hampered the operations and functions of the organization to a significant extent. As a result of which, the brand image and dominance of me, as a supervisor declined significantly that proved extremely worse for me and the organization. If a similar above mentioned situation is again faced by me, then I would organise a meeting with all my colleagues and interpersonally communicate with them. In that meeting, I would try to analyse and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each employee at the time of communication so as to reduce the gap among them. Apart from this, such an interpersonal communication might help the employees to communicate effectively with me that might enhance the motivational skills of both of us. This might prove effective in enhancement of the dedication power of the employees thereby amplifying their performance and efficiency at work. In addition, to enhance the reputation and position of the organization, varied types of suggestions might also be geared from the employees that may prove extremely effective for the group in future era. Moreover, in order to achieve the organizational target, each and every employee might act vigorously that may amplify our supremacy in the organization among other departments. Due to which, the rate of incentive or bonus might also get enhanced that may enhance the self-esteem or inner motivation of the employees to a certain extent. As a result of which, the rate of retention of the employees might get enhanced thereby reducing the rate of attritions. Retention of the experienced staffs and the supervisor within the organization might help in introduction of varied types of inventive products and services thereby amplifying its market share and competitive position among others. Part 2 In this age of competitiveness, change is the most expected aspect of an organization. This is because; in order to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability, an organization needs to accept or adopt varied types of changes. Only then, an organization might maintain its operations or functions effectively in the market among other players. However, in order to accept any sort of future challenge in an effective way, a leader or a supervisor need to include an optimistic attitude like me. This might enhance the inner motivation to accept the positive benefits of the change that might enhance the productivity of the organization. Along with this, due to high level of thinking attitude, I might easily convince the other employees towards the change, by stating them its effectiveness in long run. I might also take the risk to inspire them about the positive results of the change that may amplify the image and recognition of the organization in the market among others. Furthermore, in order to inspire the workforces towards the new change, I need to be highly involved that may enhance my leadership qualities and skills. This might prove effective for me to enhance my inter-personal relationship with my co-workers thereby amplifying their level of dependency and trust over me. Moreover, this might help the employees in fulfilment of their duties and responsibilities in an effective way, which is extremely essential for the success of any organization (McKimm & Philips, 2009). However, at the time of interpersonal communication, I need to be extremely patient and calm. This is essential, as many employees might react negatively against my strategies or policies and so in order to handle it effectively, patience is the most essential weapon. Along with this, I also need to reduce my reactions to a significant extent so as to diminish the intensity of conflicts. Only then, a unique environment might be established within the organization that may help in retention of the employees. Such an environment might enhance the bonding among the employees thereby amplifying their performance and talents. As a result, the level of productivity of the organization might get enhanced thereby boosting its demand and popularity in the market among other rival players. Thus, it might be stated that if I may reduce all such weaknesses to a certain extent then it might help in enhancing my leadership skills and talents. Due to which, I may easily handle any sort of challenging situation in an effective way thereby enhancing my power and authority among all other employees of the organization. This might help me in amplifying my hidden skills and expertises to manage and control workforces in an effective way. Hence, enhancing the inner strengths and declining the weaknesses is extremely essential to become a good leader or supervisor of an organization in this age of aggressiveness.
