HERE HERE YOUR HERE HERE Steve Jobs Talk Steve Jobs addressed the audience during the commencement speech in the video with an under-dramatized flair, illustrating his grounded nature and down-to-earth mannerisms. Through this delivery style, he was able to capture the attention of the audience and make significant social connections with people who were inspired by his unpretentious attitude. He further illustrated this practical set of personal values by describing his early years while attending university, where he said he loved his experience with sleeping on the dorm room floor of friends after dropping out. Willing to return bottles with a five cent deposit simply to have a bite to eat indicated not only his humility and modesty, but showed he was a man of faith and conviction. What resonated most was when he discussed his involvement with Next and Pixar and illustrated their successes, he did not seem boastful when the audience interrupted his speech with grand applause. Jobs is a man of distinction and a man of the people who will likely be sorely missed by the common man who is inspired by his unassuming character. Read More
