As business decisions are made, the mission statement creates a centered platform from which those decisions will support the goals that are being set for the company. By discovering your identity, you can achieve a whole range of goals that you might not have otherwise thought of while protecting yourself from ideas that do not truly fit into your perceptions of who your company is as a working entity.
