Good communication is a primary factor in the quest to attain success in all organizations. Communication is not a simple process as portrayed since it involves the transfer of information to an intended recipient.

Communication poses a challenge to most leaders today since poor communication may limit both relationships and careers. Communication entails expressing ourselves and allowing others to have a glimpse of what we are thinking. Efficient communication ability entails listening to the other party. An essential element of communication in all organizations is to listen first. This includes listening to self and to other people. However, these skills can be inculcated through the learning processes articulated in the society’s moral values especially honesty.

Efficient communication influences the level of trust, enhances collaboration and efficiency. Strong relationships often emerge from honesty and good communication, which are instrumental in developing emotional connections. Furthermore, integrity is important since it allows one to do right and respects all persons (Smith 2011).
