Ukraine and wage Kiev and Sloviansk. “Ukraine’s economy: Worse to come.” The Economist, 15th Nov Print. Qsn1 In this article, the authors state the facts. A good example is when the authors give statistics on the Ukraine’s economy especially after the Revolution. Kiev and Sloviansk state that the GDP is expected to fall by a 10% margin, they also talk of the inflation rates that have hit 19% as well as the declining consumer spending rates in the country (1). With these facts in question, one can easily accept the thought presented by the authors.

Qsn 2 From the article, I strongly feel that the authors would have at least included a positive side of today’s Ukraine. Probably, the authors would have talked about the good will of the government to revive the economy. Qsn 3 The arguments in this article make absolute sense. It is true that the Ukraine economy is collapsing and that investors need to come in and save the situation. Prial, Dunstan. “Wage Growth Is the New Inflation Rate”. FOX Business, 12th November, 2014. Print.Qsn 1 The author states facts as he gives clear events that have resulted to the new inflation rates.

A good example is when the author talks of the unemployment rates that commenced, followed by inflation and the expected rise in the interest rates (Prial 1).Qsn 2 The author would have given more practical examples on how the 2% Inflation goal has proven unspeakable. This would make the article catchier.Qsn 3 The arguments in the article partly make sense as Prial brings in a practical argument that the wage growth has resulted to new rates of inflation. It is very reasonable that when wages rise, consumers spend more (Prial 1).
