GENERAL MANAGER General Manager As the general manager, I handle various projects of the company this one notwithstanding. For the success of any project, proper project planning, management, and evaluation is required. In project planning, we have a network or graphical representation of a project showing the flow and sequence of activities and events and their timeline. The network model is always known as: -Project evaluation and Review Techniques (PERT) In the graphical presentation (PERT) a network known as the Critical path method (CPM) also exists this network is an analysis that entails a group of techniques and activities whose completion are key to the success of the project’s completion.

It is used when presenting information relating to time and resources so as to assist in the planning, scheduling, and controlling of projects. In CPM activities are shown as a flow of activities that are given priority and are interconnected using a network construction. CPM is mainly used in management of the jobs that are of a recurring nature where the action time estimates can be predicted with a significant level of accuracy due to past experience. In PERT, activities are shown as a network of interconnected activities using arrows to show the direction of the activity on the network constructed.

In case of a problem in steps B, C, and D. As the project manager, I would prioritize the execution of step B since it lies on the critical path that must be done for the construction project to continue. The other steps C and D that do not lie on the critical path can be addressed after the factors of production, human resource, and the equipment downtown issues have been resolved. The manager should address the issues in step B first and then proceed to the other steps of construction. This is because step B lies on the critical path which is very important for the progress of the project.

Once the repairs are done I would follow the critical path to the completion of the construction project.
