Task computing has been known as the tasks that can fill a gap in the computing and the user requirements that are generated ion the devices that they might be using. On the devices that are being used by the users, there are some functionalities that are being used by the users and these are the ones that are provided to the users. The associated importance of the computing environments and the ways in which they can be used is the systematic way to be referring to the task computing. Ways in which the users are interacting and making use of the computing environments are the ways that define task computing.

It has been known as the model that deals with human and computer-based interactions and it has been known that information processing is the one that has been made a part of the activities that have been seen to take place in daily life. In this case, it has been seen that ordinary activities are performed by integrating daily life activities with computing by using the computational devices and the computational systems.Delcambre, (2005) says that it has been seen that task computing is supported by the task computing framework in many cases of the functions that are related to the tasks computing and these are inclusive of the support that is given to the workflow in the case of task computing as these are the workflows that are needed to be minimum in some cases with the discovery which in the end is followed by execution and the composition.

All the tasks and the services are the ones that are described with the semantic descriptions.Specification and reusability of the tasks that have been given to the users are the ones that are supported. In this case, it has been seen that the references in the terms of tasking are not made in relation to the computational components. Tasks computing framework in some cases has been referred to as the task computing environment. The Task computing environment has been known to be composed of the following components as the task computing clients, semantically described services, the semantic discovery service mechanisms, and the last is the service controls.

1.1.2 Need of task computing Harmelen, European Coordinating Committee for Artificial Intelligence., and Association française pour l'intelligence artificielle (2002) have argued that it has been seen that being knowledgeable to some extent the main issue that the people are to face is trying to do the simple things with the devices and the device rich environments and the application rich environments. Many situations can be representing the same situation and these include the discussions that may be occurring with the colleagues in the multimedia and the presentations being made in a business situation or the lab.

In the same case it has been seen that the business cards that we seldom carry are the ones that keep lying in the table drawers as it is a task to make the business cards entrance into the PIM. In addition to this there are many other situations in which the projectors may stop working when it is needed the most. Gómez-Pérez, Fernández-López, and Corcho, (2004) say that all of these entail one main fact and that is the use of electronic devices with a large number of the applications that are used to deal with these applications.

In some cases these are the devices which are accompanied with the use of time and loads of frustration. As for example a simple example that cam ne quoted here in this case is that of the CD playing on the windows XP. As it has been noticed that the CD when inserted by using the operating programs as Windows XP, the user is prompted with the messages relating to the lost o choices that is given to the user related to the playing the CD or to view the contents of the CD. Staab, and Studer, (2004) say that thereby in this case the pre specified list of actions are performed on the CD by the operating system thus making it clear that of an event occurs there is a list of options available for the user to at upon the event by the prescribed list of actions that are provided to the user.

This is the similar fact that has been noticed in the case of Windows XP as it has been using the features of the smart tags. It has been seen that the text in the document is seen to be highlighted by this smart tag feature and it has been seen that the user in this case is offered an additional option of the drop down menus. These are the drop down menus that are of great help for the users as it has been seen that the users can work on the selected and the highlighted text is using the options that appear on the menus.

It can be explained by the fact that if the text that has been selected is the name of a person than the drop down feature that is being provided by the drop down menus can be the ones that can help in associating the name with the person. In addition to this the additional features that can be provided by the drop down menus can be related to the scheduling a meeting with the person or even sending an email to the respective person. Menasalvas, Segovia, Szczepaniak, (2003) argue that in this case it has been seen that these are the devices that can help a user in making their ways when there is a situation as these are the devises that can help the person perform the actions when they are needed.

Windows and the other operating systems are not the only examples of these kinds of devices which present o the user more of a task oriented approach to all the issues that are being faced by the user. The task oriented approach in the case of the computing environment has been used by the various devices which can present much more of a pragmatic approach to the daily life computing environments being faced by the users. Google can be taken as an example of the take oriented environments being provided by the internet based devices as in the case of Google it has been seen that the address when it is entered in the search box on Google as in the case of the address search that might be required by the person the results that will be appearing on the list will be inclusive of the maps that are been shown by the yahoo maps or any other address search activity.
