As an investigator, prior preparation cannot be ignored. So much has to be done to ensure that the investigator is up to speed with the goings on in the organization. This will help in matching the expected goals with the expected expertise in dealing with KM. having been an investigator in knowledge audits for ten years now, I believe that the expertise I have acquired from the many companies I have helped achieve their goals will be of great use in this company as well. I have worked with five music companies within the ten years I have been conducting audits and the results were tremendous.

One of the companies is the Virgin Atlantic Sounds which is currently doing well both in the UK and the US. I have had quite some interactions with music producers, performers, and theatre owners and gained a lot of insight from interacting with them. I have seen the power of using automated machines, the essence of uploading performances on the internet and the zeal that people have when they realize that they can achieve much more with the click of a button. As an individual, I have had quite an interest in live performances and the impact the performance has not only for the performer but also the audience.

Many would like to have such performances within their reach and at their convenience. Having firsthand experience on the importance of having portable concert performances, I am at best willing to make the company use the much knowledge stored here to reach out to more clients who would otherwise feel left out if they did not make it to a performance. I have also a bias in the area of culture and technology. I believe that the best way of preserving culture in the rapidly globalizing world is by entrenching culture into technological advancement.

I have also interacted extensively with the internet for at least three years now and understand the magnitude it has on any business model. The presence of YouTube and social sites like Facebook and Twitter has made it easier to get in touch with a huge number of fans and this could be beneficial to the company as a whole.
