Without Bede’s Historia the image of England’s ecclesiastical history as we know it today would have been utterly different. Despite drawing on a large number of previous works Bede’s work managed to put forward an undoubtedly new and unique facet of England, one that is still referred to and honored for the sheer reason of having been so well detailed and researched and such a pioneer in its field.
During Shakespeare's time, there was a lot οf racism, purely because οf the fact that there were few if any different cultures in England, and what is new is always strange, and although it seems difficult for a modern production to face the difficulties involved with this production, I feel it would take to much away from English literature and psychology even to edit anything really out οf this play.

From the onset of this gripping novel, Nick always showed that he disliked Gatsby. This disgust and hatred towards him was very well kept under wraps because of his unassuming demeanor.
